Everyone knows how obsessed Luke is with Trains, but we didn't truly get it until we recorded a show on the History Channel called Extreme Trains! It is the cutest thing EVER to watch Luke sit that still while watching these episodes. The host of the show (Matt Brown) loved trains as a kid and grew up to work on the rail lines himself. Luke pushes pause and tells me everything this guy says...he is glued to every word. I came in the room the other day to fold a load of clothes and he said, "Mom this guy really knows his stuff!" WHAT????

Since we recorded it he watches it all the way through and then rewinds it slowly and watches the entire show backwards just to see the Trains go backwards. Sigh...this kid is unique!

Doug and I have been quoting Lukers lately doing the "Train, train, train" chant. He is seriously hilarious.
Oh, and Jess you are "unique." But we, like, totally love it.
Tyler is like that with Nascar. His favorite channel other than PBS is the Speed channel which he watches completey with his mouth slightly open and it's hard to get his attention. Boys are fun!
I can't imagine Luke and Chase together. We only have one episode recorded and he goes into a trance. Food can't even drag him away from it. He walks around all day yelling "all aboard the choo choo train!"
Oh for the love, that is the cutest! I love that he rewinds it to watch the trains go backwards. You will tease him about this when he gets older.
Oh man Will is crazy about trains too! I will have to find out when those are on and record them for him! Isn't it funny how they get so into certain things!!
