"Seven Steps"

On Friday Dan headed up to our Ward Girls Camp to spend the day rafting on the Arkansas River with Kennedy and the Young Women!   This is her first year at camp and whoa what a great time she had.  They hiked up Mt. Yale (9 hours and over 14,000 ft.) and made it to the top!  Besides bruised toes and a sore body I think it was a memorable experience for her.  She had a blast bunking with her fellow Beehives, hiking to a waterfall and roasting marsh-mellows around the campfire!
She came home stinky and exhausted, but Happy!

So I woke up this morning to a HUGE MESS!!!!!  I keep my liquid Tide on top of my washing machine because of the way it dispenses.  NEVER had a problem before - but apparently it fell off after I started a load last night and totally exploded all over the laundry room floor, cabinets and rug.  It was everywhere including the ceiling!  Sigh...super fun to clean up today! Only took me 3 hours and I still have to have Dan move the washer and dryer to get the rest.   I have said it before and will say it again people, "I hate laundry"!

Our Little Swan...

Rylee had her first Recital a few nights ago and we couldn't be prouder!  She loved every second of it! Her favorite was the fact that I actually LET her put makeup on and glitter in her hair!  She is so much fun and did a fabulous job on her two dances!

I heart Dad!

For Father's Day the kids and I made some fun shirts to surprise Dan!  He came home from church and they all yelled "Happy Father's Day"!  They were pretty proud of themselves.  They spoiled him the best they could today and I think he had a pretty great day!
We sure love you Danny - Thanks for all you do for us!

Plus a shout out to my DAD!  I love you and I am so thankful to be your daughter!  Thanks for all the years of laughs and smiles!  Hope you had a great day!

Twinkle Toes!

This has been a crazy week with school getting out and all the kids activities!  Plus, Dan took the two little ones to Alamosa with him for a few days!  Noah is at Scout Camp, what are two girls gonna do?  Pedicure TIME!  Kennedy and I had a blast getting our toes done, eating at Olive Garden and Shopping with just 2 of us!  That NEVER happens so we really lived it up!  We took this picture when we got home and we both sighed...I have Fred Flinstone toes (as Dan always says) and Kennedy says her feet look like Rylee's.  But we look Fab-u-lous!

Don't worry Dad...

So Kennedy had a temple trip with the Young Women last night and she was pretty excited about it.  When Dan got home from work Rylee ran right up to him and plunked herself right on his lap on the couch and said, "Dad, Kennedy is going to the temple tonight, but don't worry, she isn't getting married!"
