Back by Popular Demand...Sister or Horse Whisperer?

(I had to take this off temporarily because I thought my sister was going to kill me)

This is my sister Jenny and YES she talks to horses! This video was taken at my parents house in Rhode Island a few years ago. Their neighbors across the street have horses and we BEGGED her to talk to them because it is so hilarious! As you can hear - they got super excited hearing her. She has even had horses run to her in the past after calling out to them! My in-laws horses went crazy once after she called to them! True Stories!

She is my sister - and I think she is pretty cool!

He's a Blender!

I broke the stupid handle off of our fancy little smoothie maker at Christmas and we have been suffering ever since.   We are a blending family.  We love a good smoothie!  Dan decided we had enough of that so he bought a new one.  It may look like a regular ole' blender, but it makes heavenly smoothies!!!  Today he made a recipe from Jamba Juice and yes...it is devine!  

He makes me laugh though at how "serious" he is about his blender!  He takes such great care to clean his little buddy after making his creations.  Tells the kids not too touch it and me how to care for it.  Uh...sure Dan!  I will put it on a silver platter and dust it hourly!  

Whatever - just make me a mango smoothie!  

SHE is here!!!

My sister Cydney had her baby last night!  She has two little boys and has always wanted a girl and she finally got one!  She was told at her ultrasound that it was a girl so she went crazy getting read for one.  Then at a later appointment she was told it might not be a girl and she has been crazy in wonder about it ever since!  

Well, she is here and she is adorable!  I love the super cute hospital hat she is wearing!

Whatta who?

Our trip to Target yesterday ended in teenager drama!  

The kids all had a few dollars they had earned and decided they wanted to get a few treats for our last day off of school.  Kennedy decided to get a jug of Chocolate milk to share with everyone!  Nice right?  Well, last night Dan opened the fridge and saw THIS!

CRAP...what if I want some?  Do I add a line or just say Luke took it?

Jake the Snake!

This is my nephew Jake!  Isn't he adorable?  He was an amazing little guy who touched many hearts with his short time here on Earth!  He passed away Feb. 16, 2007 from a birth defect called CDH and we really miss him.  His eyes would sparkle when he smiled and that is what we miss the most.  I just wanted his family to know that he hasn't been forgotten and we still think of him often.  We miss you little monkey!

I saw this picture 3 years ago and have looked for it ever since!  It is an artist's rendition in space showing all the crap orbiting the Earth!  Man humans are trashy!

Papa Smurf is that you?

So Danny woke up Saturday and said, "Let's clean the garages out".  I about passed out.  We have been married 14 1/2 years and I have only heard him say that twice!  I was scared that I was dreaming, but we headed out and started going through stuff and I really felt like crying I was so happy!  We have sheetrock on the walls, but the tape and tex isn't so hot so we decided to paint over it anyhow. (I know what your thinking DAD and he wouldn't go for it)   He headed to Home De-pot and came home with 5 gallons of BLUE paint!  After spraying it on for a few hours he came in and we couldn't stop laughing because he looked like a SMURF!  Good times.  I then told my kids how my sister Cydney and I took blue eyeshadow once and put it all over our faces and arms to look like a smurf and thought we were pretty cool until the missionaries popped in.  Not so funny!  Eh...what do you do?

This was one of the fabulous gifts we were given at our baby shower!  (thanks guys) We decided to get it out and see if she liked it because she is always standing up on our laps!  She likes to be up and looking at everyone.  So our handy dandy Kennedy put it together for us and she LOVES it!  Kennedy took these pics of her playing in it for the first time!
