I really hate laundry...
So raise your hand if you think Dan will look good in his sweater that I washed like an idiot (dry clean only) that is now 3 sizes too small? Think he will notice? I am sick of laundry...I can't keep track of EVERYTHING for pete sakes!
If I could ask for something for Christmas it would be a little laundry fairy that does the wash while I am alseep! She would wash, fold and put the clothes away...its that too much to ask?

My sister Cydney showed this to our family years ago and it is now a Christmas Eve Tradition. It is a beautiful combination of the movie Luke 2 put out by the church & Amy Grant's "Breath of Heaven". We hope you have a wonderful Christmas Season!

If you haven't gone to see this movie yet...rush to the theater! It is absolutely delightful and we truly enjoyed it! Not too many movies are made for the entire family anymore and this one hit the spot for all of us! I love hearing my little ones quote their favorite lines from the movie...makes me smile!

Do you BIO?
So my sister Jackie had some blogish info about my husband and so I just had to add it to our blog. Check out what Jackie had to say:
"My bro-in-law Dan owns Alta Fuels, a company in Alamosa, Colorado that produces biodiesel. It's a crazy-cool business--they take agricultural products and turn them into fuel. Done and done. It's a way smart business. On a side note, sometimes when I drive home from work I listen to National Public Radio(NPR) because I can't help but like it (shut up, Doug!!), and during my commute they play a news program called "All Things Considered" that I quite enjoy.Well, it's with great pride that I recently figured out that Danny and his company were covered on this program last year and--gasp!--he was even quoted on the air!! I'm sure my sister told me about this months ago, but as a new NPR convert I didn't truly appreciate it.So check out this link if you want to listen to the interview and support (a) me, (b) Dan, or (c) renewable, biodegradable, and non-toxic forms of energy fuel."

You Are An ESFJ |
The Caregiver You are sympathetic and caring, putting friends and family first. A creature of habit, you prefer routines and have trouble with change. You love being in groups - whether you're helping people or working on a project. You are good at listening, laughing, and bringing out the best in people. In love, you value harmony and mutual understanding. You will apologize or give someone the benefit of the doubt, if it means getting over a fight sooner. At work, you are good at building relationships and connecting with people. You would make a great nurse, social worker, or teacher. How you see yourself: Organized, dependable, co-operative When other people don't get you, they see you as: Opinionated, critical, and know-it-all |

Go Rockies!!!!
Dan surprised us by getting us tickets to the Rockies Playoffs game! We had so much fun! Coors field is so neat...it was made to look like an old fashion baseball stadium and it even has a cool water feature! The kids loved singing to all the cool songs, screaming at the top of their lungs and eating non-stop! What a great Dad they have!

Crickey!
On September 4 it will be a year since the Legend, Steve Irwin died. Every time we see a stingray at the zoo, castaway cay or on tv Rylee will tell you, "that is what killed Steve Irwin the crocodile hunter, right mom"? Our family loved his show and what he stood for. We are sad that he is gone, but glad he gave us such fabulous catch phrases, board games and great television. Thanks Steve!
New Obssesion
So a friend of mine asked me if I had read the Twilight books series and I said no and she gasped and told me I had too. They
are about vampires so I hesitated and said I would try it. A week later I am well into the 3rd book and love them. So if your in the mood for a great book check these out of your library and stay up late like I do and scare yourself. Really good times!
Oh these darn kids...
So........school is underway and life is getting organized once again. I love a schedule! I love 8:30 bedtime and I love spending alone time with Lukers!
Kennedy is loving 6th grade. She has 7 classes to make it thru during the day and about a million pound backpack to carry around. She loves her technology class and her science class. Math is still in the works because they have her in the wrong class. She started track last week and LOVES it! She tried the hurdles and found it exciting. She wants to pursue that a bit. I will have to post pics of her first meet.
Noah is "into" 3rd grade as he says. He loves his teacher (Mrs. Kennedy) and enjoys lunch. Sigh...he gives us 30 minute updates on recess and who he played with and what they played. He really likes art and informed me that he doesn't like to sing anymore in music. When I asked him why he just looked at me like I was some type of alien life form. Okay...so I am not cool I get it already! Geez...
Rylee started out rough this year. For those of you that know Rylee she is very VERY independent. But...she cried everyday before school. What? We had a rough couple of weeks, but now she is fine. She wakes herself up and is ready to go now. (kids always have 2 weeks to get used to a schedule don't you think). She has made new friends and loves her teacher. She did tell me no more dresses to school. Uh...well crap. She has a million this year. She also told me that I need to send better snacks for her class because another kid brought chocolate. (whatever~we aren't suppose too so there. i am following the rules rylee~gosh)
Luke is my buddy still. He and I enjoy the quiet time before Rylee gets home in the afternoon. He likes to go shopping (especially with Dan to Target~gee I wonder why). He loves playgroup and eating snacks. He is talking sooooooooooo well and it catches us off gaurd sometimes. He told me yesterday as he walked into the kitchen, "Mom don't watch me okay"? So I closed my eyes and he opened the pantry door and got a cookie out and stuck it in his pocket. He said, "Okay you can look now, I didn't get any cookies". Oh man...
Well, that wraps it up with the kiddos. Things are great and we hope they are for you all too!
