She's off to camp her little heart out!

Kennedy left for camp yesterday and was super pumped!  She didn't seem the least bit sad to be leaving her poor mother behind either.  What's up with that?  I told her to have a blast and in order to come home a true camper, she had to learn a cool camp song and complete at least one prank!  Those are the best parts of camp - don't you agree?

What's your best camping story?

Uh... I think when I took my brothers mini keyboard and recorded my voice, whispering "Joseph" so that I could play that through the keys when I pressed them. And then the Laurals and I told the story of the "Changling" and then after everyone was tucked in bed I played about 17 keys all at once! (if you haven't seen the movie, this won't make much sense! Not the new one, the old one with George C. Scott)
All the girls sarted freaking out and screaming! They ran out of the tent screaming that there was a ghost in our tent!
Waaaa Ha Ha Ha!!!

Love your new background and fam photo. My favorite story was my 2nd year at girls camp. One of the laurels got so many bug bites she decided to count them, and to make sure she didn't miss any, she circled them all with a magic marker as she counted them. Let me tell you, she looked awesome. Then she decided to take the 1st years snipe hunting. She convinced them that the only way to catch one was to slather peanut butter all over your hands and face and crawl down the dirt road (we were camped at the top of the hill) and back up again. We had no peanut butter for the rest of camp because there were a dozen first years! Hysterical though, especially since we didn't really have running water...

Hi Jessy!
I check your blog out every once in awhile. I've got one too and have fun with it. It's great to see you guys and see what you are doing. You look great!!!
I have to say that I have SOOO many camp stories. I wouldnt even know which to pick. Why dont we still go to girls camp and leave the family for a few days? That sounds really fun to me. Except, lets go to a huge spa!!
