He got this for his birthday and just HAD to wear it for Halloween! I have a feeling he will have a REAL one someday...sigh...

So I found out that this year he was too cool for a costume...but since he knows i LOVE dressing up he threw this together to match Rea! He decided an outlaw was acceptable!

So the last week or so our puppy has been barking in the evenings as he runs along the deck. To be honest he NEVER barks so I find it extremely annoying. I decided he was scared of the dark and left the porch light on for him until bedtime. He sleeps inside in a crate right by the back door these days. I figure he would like the view. (laugh...Dan just did)

Aaaaaanywho...last night he started barking like CRAZY and wouldn't stop even with us shouting at him telling him to stop! He was waking up the kids when i realize "something" is looking in at us through the patio door and then bolts across the deck! I freaked of course! You lie if you say you wouldn't. Well we decided this thing wanted the dog food. No problem we just won't leave it out. Problem solved.

Right - not so much. Tonight I went out to the garage to run pick Rylee up from Activity days. Uh...it's all still a blur but i heard something and then a rather LARGE something ran past my leg and I realized it was a stinken RACOON! I screamed and screamed and screamed some more! Then one more time. Dan chased him all over the place until we heard the dog barking again and Kennedy went to see what was up. Then she screams bloody murder and she comes running and says he climed a tree and now it's on the deck with the dog.
The picture above is of a sweet innocent little one. His creepy cousin was at our house...the one with tattoos and a nose ring. He tried to lick me!

Sigh...we have to move.

The kids had just left for school.

I was working on the Primary Program at the computer.

Dan's parents were able to get GREAT seats at the Bronco game last week! He took Noah with him (even though I was freaking out because the game didn't start until 8 pm - hello!) They had a great time and were even able to head down onto the field after the game! Nothing like bonding time with Dad!

Man I love a cool dollar store find! These babies have brought hours of fun at our house! I have been a tad bit jealous I didn't have a pair until this morning when I looked in the kitchen sink. I have been sick in bed for a few days and thought I better catch up on some house work. I started with the dishes and saw the straw glasses sitting at the bottom of the sink - completely FULL of mold.

Never mind.

Man it's been a CRA-ZY summer around here! We finished up a school year had a few birthdays, we remodeled a home and moved into it and had a family reunion at our house. We've started school and squeezed in some playtime here and there!

We still can believe it! Seems like just yesterday she joined our family! She makes us laugh daily and is the best snuggler this side of the equator! We just ALL love her and are so happy she is part of the family! We got up early this morning to give her all her gifts and decided to wake her up singing happy birthday! Well she woke up with a smile and when we were done singing she said, "thank you" rolled over and went back to sleep! What a nut!

A couple of months ago we bought a house and are UP to our elbows remodeling it! What a doozy! We are moving this weekend and well...it is consuming me! My kids are having a blast making forts out of all the boxes and I am having fun watching our new casa transform! Dan is, well...not having as much fun as he is doing most of the work. Thanks Danny boy!

Ry and I zipped up to Portland to have good ole Uncle Ben fix her tooth! (he is a gem and pretty darn good dentist I might add - THANKS!!!) We had so much fun and stuffed our bellies to the limit daily! We celebrated Rylee's birthday at a wall to wall trampoline place and walked around the Portland Temple for kicks! What fun! We also spent Memorial Day at Seaside enjoying a little rain and sand! What you didn't know it rained in Oregon? It's a dry rain if that makes any sense...

Thanks for having us Wolfes! Give that new puppy a squeeze for us!

Man we had fun for Spring Break this year! Even though the beach was cold this day...we loved every minute of it!!

Monkey couldn't get enough of it!
She scooped sand until she was covered from head to toe!

We ate lunch at the end of this Pier!

You can't see it because it was so darn foggy, but it was awesome!

Our mission this trip was finding a roadside strawberry stand and boy did we hit the mother load!

Rows and rows of delicious and juicy strawberries!
Luke was in heaven! (he has a slight addiction)

The smells in California are AMAZING! Stepping outside to the warmth of the sun and the smell of the flowers is a new favorite of mine!

Since we surprised them, they liked us the entire trip!

We headed up from San Diego to DisneyLand for a few days!

My kids were INSANE at this Lego store! They couldn't get enough of it!
They were so annoyed that I got my camera out!
They just wanted to look and I wanted pictures!
Good thing I am the mom and I WIN!

I started a weird neck ache before the trip, but after riding this so many times I was toast!
Still paying for that one! Worth it..it was AWESOME!

It was a fantastic trip! Loved hanging with my kiddos and Danny boy! We also ran into the Graper Family and part of the Dixon family! So fun seeing people from home on vaca! Woot Woot!

We started March great with a Broken Collar bone for mr. Luke! Oh boy was he a sad little boy! Not only was he in pain, but he couldn't play outside or anything! Forever he says...

The we had our fabulous piano recital!

The kids did GREAT! I am kicking myself for not keeping up on my lessons when I was young. I do a killer Pumpkin Eater if you ever want to hear!

A Leprechaun came and hid coins in all the kids shoes and clothes and left a little treat!

Aaaaaaaaand Uncle Phil came down from New Jersey to hang with us! Well really to spend 8 hours a day in a gym watching basketball, but he hung out with us too!

While in Bama this Christmas we were able to round up the Dunlop gang and take a much needed Family Portrait! It was taken at a really amazing old steel museum downtown. Let's just say it was a photographers dream! I was running around like a crazy person dragging everyone with me! With my Dad's current health issues it was just so nice to have everyone together for this!

I left one night for a Youth Temple trip and was gone for about 3 hours. When I came home I was tired and hungry...aaaaaaand I smelled something amazing as I walked in the door! My sweet hubby had something in the oven. He decided about a year ago he likes to cook and makes some yummy things, but this knocked my socks off! He went to our food storage and opened up the wheat...ground it down in to flour, made the dough, raised it and cooked it! He jumped up when I walked in and cut me a piece and slapped some butter on it for me.

I was almost too stunned to eat it!

Yea...so as I was leaving for YW a few nights ago I told the kids to please stop playing on the stairs because I was leaving. Luke was snowshoeing at school the next day and I didn't want him to get hurt! I said, "You don't want to break something and miss snowshoeing do you?" Hmmm...

Well...he DID hurt himself (possible broken ankle). He is walking on crutches (totally thinks he is cool by the way) He missed his school party and snowshoeing! Not so fun spending a Saturday building snowmen on your knees is it pal?

If you have seen the movie tangled you will know the words to Mother Knows BEST! ! I sang it to him and he wasn't thinking it was as funny as I was. Love you anyhow Luke!

We had such a craaaaazy week here in Denver! When I picked the kids up from school they were screaming with delight that school was canceled the next day! What? Sweet! We were getting some serious below zero temps and ended up having 2 days off! Lazy days with breakfast at 10 are my kind of days! Playing games and laying around - giddy up!

Noah spent FORever with the snowblower this week! He did our driveway and half the neighborhood!

Proud daddy...passing on the torch of the snow removal process! (i love doing it, but he thinks the boys should do it. - whatever mortensen)

We laughed so hard at all of Reagan's outfits. I think we added 3 different layers in 10 minutes!

The kids had a blast iceskating down the driveway!

Rylee loved eating the snow until Noah told her to check for yellow chunks. Why are boys so disgusting? Why?

My niece Lexi and Rylee had a fun experience this Christmas!

They opened a gift early saying that they were getting their ears pierced together!!!

They were PUMPED and a tad bit scared! They kept asking if it was going to hurt.

The cuties just moments before...

Lexi was hilarious...she was down to business and ready to rock!

When they were done we asked her how it was...her answer?
"Well...it didn't hurt!"

Rylee was so excited, but when she sat in the chair...

she may have turned white! She was SCARED!
She even had sweaty hands! Poor little tiny!

We took the kids to see Tangled and I am not kidding you...FABULOUS! We laughed the entire time! So darn cute! The music is just amazing (enough we bought the soundtrack already) and listen to it daily! We just might go see it again! What do you think of that?

We done did it!
We headed down South for Christmas in Bama...no joking...as we got off the plane and headed to get our luggage we heard Christmas BANJO music! Kennedy and I couldn't stop laughing!
We had 27 people in my parents house! What a hoot! We spent our days eating, playing games, laughing, dancing, paintballing (12000 balls to be exact) taking family pictures, watching movies, eating some more and just enjoying one another. My parents have had a rough year with my Dad's health problems, so it was just so nice to spend time with them and hang out all together!

My cute Laurel class came over for a Harry Potter Party before they stood in line for a hundred years for the midnight showing of the New Harry Potter! I just found these pictures on my camera and started laughing...they are a bunch of nuts and I love them! We played a few games, made our own Harry Potter glasses and added a scar to our noggins! I found some butterbeer and candy and we had a blast! These girls make me smile!

We ate so much we felt like a stuffed turkey!

My friend Kristie is an Amazing Photographer! I have taken our family picture for YEARS by myself with either a timer or begging Grandma to push the button after I have gotten it all set up. I thought it was finally time to have someone take our pictures so I made the call! We had soooo much fun and I just love how they turned out! I know how hard it is to get that many people looking at the camera AND smiling! She worked so well with all of our drama!

Toothpaste all over the mirror (what? how did she get up there)

Broke a glass jar full of sand all over the bathtub (forget it - let's just move)

Drank out of Luke's shake - he has strep (figures)

Got into Kennedy's makeup (seriously Kennedy?)

Poured herself a cup of juice...some made it into the cup (made Dan clean that one up)

Colored with a sharpie all over my white sheets (sigh...still mad about that one)

Sugar dispenser I just filled up all over the carpet and couch (closed my eyes and pictured the beach)

Chapstick all over the glass sliding door (made her clean that one up)

Blue pen all over the house while I was gone

(still waiting for Dan to take care of that - he says he likes it-hoser)

Shredded Rylee's homework (had to save Reagan on that one)

Pulled a knife from the dishwasher and started running (entire family freaked out and chased her down)

My Mom, Sisters and I took off for a little weekend...I know what you're thinking...we hit the beach right! Nope! We headed to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry!
My husband is always telling me I am a little witchy...

Went to Honeydukes for some good ole fashion wizard candy!

Luke picked dinner last night...oooh nothing fancy, just mummies and orange slices!

We had a little visitor this week...totally univited! You know the kind that "slither in" unannounced!

Reagan found it...wanted to pick it up...almost stepped right on it!

Dan wanted to cut his little head off with a shovel! I didn't want the blood on the rocks...so I scooped it up and took him to a new hotel! Nicer...the kind with no humans! I think he hissed thank you when we let him go!

There is nothing like a Fall Soccer Game! Depending on the year here in Colorado you can either get a tan or frozen from snow on the ground! We have been lucky enough to have beautiful weather and lots of fun playin' soccer! Dan is coaching this year and it has been super fun watching all these kids learn to play "together"! Luke just loves it - slide kicks are his fav!

Our pool is closing and we are sooooo sad! That means summer has officially come to an end. We all love swimming so we soaked in every last drop! Kennedy couldn't make it because of volleyball and she was super bummed about it!

I hate back to school...I love my kiddos home with me! I love lazy days playing games and relaxing at the pool! I love little people helping out around the house and eating dinner at 9 o'clock because it's just getting dark! Now it's time for bedtime and homework and momma being a crazy person with schedule and laundry late at night because I forgot to wash a load of socks...sigh...thanks alot summer for only being a few short months!

Summer Vaca Part 2

The Oregon coast is one of my favorite places to be! As a teenager I would go and just stare at how amazing and different it is! We decided to head up one evening for a little family time and brought wood for a bonfire! The kids had a blast running around and the dad's enjoyed a little local seafood!

Reagan was chowing down on Dan's seafood! Amazes me she will eat that, but bananas she hates! Go figure!

These two soaked themselves messing around on the skimboard! They had a blast!

Summer Vaca part 1

We headed off to Oregon for a few weeks for some rip roarin' fun! It only took us 3 days and 26 hours to get there. Seriously?!!! We met up with the family (we sure missed mom and dad and those crazy Meyersons) in Bend OR at Lake Billy Chinook! It is better known as "little powell" and it is gorgeous! We spent the week tubing, camping, laughing and making some serious memories! What a blast!

The views from the different areas of the lake change from forest to cliffs to views of Mt. Jefferson! We even saw Billy the billy goat daily!

The sisters (jenn...you would have made it extra horse power if ya know what I mean)! Don't mess with us...we've got some serious rpms!

My cute Kennedy! She had a blast and cracked us up out on the tube!

Some of the kids showing uncle Dan how brave they were! He had fun trying to knock them off when they got a little too cozy!

"Redneck to White trash"! We had fun doing our daily Redneck Yacht club swims! Danny boy and Benny boy got really good at synchronized boating! What dorks!

Lukers LOVED all the babies around. My niece Addy here (isn't she a bubba) was so cute to let him hold her all the time! He tried picking up Liza, Molly and Reagan, but they weren't feeling it so much!

Rylee her first time on the trainer ski! She rocks!

The tubes were the most popular! I am afraid it is my fav as well! We got all the sisters on it once and Ben tried to kill me. I am just sayin...

While Kennedy and her buddy Nikki spent the week at BYU for EFY, we did the Utah thing! We had so much fun! We watched the fireworks at the MTC lawn, Bridal Veil falls, Sundance, SLC Temple Square and tons more! I forgot how much fun Utah is! We spent hours at the BYU bookstore and walking around campus! Dan loved checking out his old stomping grounds! Thanks Utah!

Kennedy left early this morning for the Youth Pioneer Trek. Her outfits were right on (thanks Grandma Joyce) and her hair was braided and her mother was a blubbering idiot! All of that should equal a good time. Can't wait to hear all about it. Apparently they walk 5 miles the first day, 10 miles the next day and 5 on the last day! What an amazing experience this is for her!

Don't you just love a good rainstorm followed by sun and a rainbow? I do! We had fun playing in the rushing water and trying to soak mommy as she took pictures! Silly kids - don't you know I control the water temp when you take a shower?

When I was a kid my sisters and I used to play in puddles after a rainstorm, we would use the gutter as a waterslide for our barbies! We were soooo cool!

Oh she was just a splashin away...love this kid!

This one just wanted to play "float the stick" so we weren't so interested in stopping to take pictures...hello does she not know who I am?

Well she is 8 folks and I am an emotional wreck! This kid is amazing and full of LIFE! We have soooooo much fun when she is around! She tells the cutest (longest) stories and her laugh can brighten ANY day! She also is a mini "truck driver" as my parents used to say. She burps, laughs and giggles when we scold her. Sigh...how does a parent teach when they are trying not to laugh?

She was so cute this morning...she just couldn't wait to see what today would bring! We love you Ry and hope you have the BEST 8th birthday EVER!

Can you believe my little guy is 6? We are so thrilled to have this little man in our family! He makes us laugh and smile daily! Little story to tell...

Kennedy comes up to us after a volleyball game VERY upset and begins to cry. I thought it was from her game, but no, it was about her favorite of all favorite sweatshirts! (she bought it up in Oregon with her Aunt Stacey) She left it on the back of her chair in 6th period. When school was over she ran back to that class to get it and her teacher says, "Oh shoot, I have some BAD new for you". Uh...apparently a rather LARGE male student (I pictured a gorilla for some reason-you will read why) put on the sweatshirt and started screwing around until the teacher told him to remove it because it wasn't his. The gorilla...I mean student and his friend began taking it off piece by piece! What? Are you kidding me?! What is wrong with kids today thinking that is okay? So naturally I had to become the "other Jessy" and tell this teacher I was expecting this student to replace the sweatshirt or he and his MOMMA wuz gonna deal with ME! Yowza! We have ordered a new one (not as cool as the original, but it will do) and this kid and his sidekick are paying for it!

Look at it though!!! Where the heck is the other sleeve? Sigh...what a TERD!

Reagan and I had a fun opportunity to fly to Bama Jama to see my parents and to help plant the flowers at the Temple! My mom has been in charge for a few years now and needed an extra hand and I jumped at the chance to help out! I have always wanted to do something like this ever since I helped out at the Portland Temple in my youth! It was really fun and Reagan and I both LOVED hanging with G&G Dunlop! The weather was delightful (hello I even got tanish) and the trees are all out for summer and flowers and bugs and lizards...it was great!

Something in San Antonio!

Last minute Dan planned our family vacation for Spring Break in San Antonio! We weren't sure how it was going to work out...but boy did we have fun!

We walked around the resort in the evenings and found cool stuff like

firepits and bugs!

Headed to Sea World and saw cool shows and even ran into the Lee's from our old ward! So exciting!

These crazy nuts road this 5 times! In a row!!!

Rylee's first REAL roller coaster and I am afraid she is addicted! She LOVED it! She reminds me of myself at that age! Really scared to try it, but once you do...you can't stop Check out that drop! She came out of her seat and scared me to death!

This is the new show they have and we couldn't stop smiling! Crazy divers, dolphins and happy kids!

Everyone LOVED this one! You know it's fun when they come off dripping wet and want to do it again! (this is before Luke tried it - pretending to stand in the splash zone)

These TARDS sat in the splash zone for the show! Guess what...didn't get wet! Rylee cried. Sigh...

Started counting these at the beginning of the trip..stopped at around 11! Are you kidding me = they are EVERYWHERE! It's like we were in the desert or something!

Headed to the River Walk and the Alamo! Super cool! So much to see and learn...

River ride...can you say sweet? I was drooling over all the picture spots I could shoot! Drooling!

Our resort was amazing! It was HUGE and had so much to do that we really didn't need to leave! It was fun to warm up after a day of swimming at one of the many fireplaces!

Ken was Reagan's buddy this trip! My oldest and youngest chillin at the baby pool! Gotta love it!

This is just half of the waterpark! Nice eh? We had a blast and will always remember our Easter away from home! Thanks hun!

It's been a Noah week this week! He had his LAST pinewood derby this week. (kinda makes us sad) He and his dad worked really hard and made the coolest car! Noah is 11 today...can't believe it! He is seriously hilarious and so much fun to hang with. We surprised him this morning by taking him late to school so that we could go out to breakfast! We are lucky to have this kid in our family! He is witty to boot and still really likes his mom. Man I love that! Last night we had a relaxing evening. Kennedy and I were working on projects...the kids were playing and Dan was reading (so I thought). I heard him from the other room laughing every once in awhile. Then the belly laugh came. What the heck is he doing? I come into the room and see he is watching an episode of Phineas and Ferb - ALONE. No kids around...just Dan and his cartoon. I sat and watched him for a second and then started laughing. He looks right at me and says, "Hun, this is a good one...come watch it with me!" Love my BIG kid...he keeps things interesting!

She made it...my sister Jackie and her hubby Doug had their baby Addy Shafer! She was 8 lbs. 1 oz. and 21 inches! She had a rough go coming into the world, but after 3 hours of pushing she ended up having a C-section! Jackie is a real trooper and we are super proud and excited!! Can't wait to meet her guys!
