Mom: "who buddy?"
Luke: "oh just your mother"
Mom: (laughing) "what?  why?"

Sigh...

When it looks like this outside...

We do alot of THIS inside!

The kids like to set up tournaments with the Wii!  It's all fun and games until your the last one picked to be on a team.  Yea...I feel like the fat kid in P.E.!  Even my sweet little Luke says, "sorry mom".  Sigh...yea it hurts!  I am sorry if I can't make the stupid car go around the track without falling off! Sheesh!  I can kick some butt at tennis, but that just ain't good enough!

Extreme Trains

Everyone knows how obsessed Luke is with Trains, but we didn't truly get it until we recorded a show on the History Channel called Extreme Trains!  It is the cutest thing EVER to watch Luke sit that still while watching these episodes.  The host of the show (Matt Brown) loved trains as a kid and grew up to work on the rail lines himself.  Luke pushes pause and tells me everything this guy says...he is glued to every word.  I came in the room the other day to fold a load of clothes and he said, "Mom this guy really knows his stuff!"  WHAT????

His favorite episodes you ask?
Steam Train
Circus Train (my favorite)
Coal Train
Bullet Train

Since we recorded it he watches it all the way through and then rewinds it slowly and watches the entire show backwards just to see the Trains go backwards.  Sigh...this kid is unique!

Are you kidding me?

After school today we took the kids to the park to enjoy this NUTTY yet amazing weather we are having here in Denver.  The kids asked if we were going again tomorrow and I said, "heck yea - it's going to be nice again!"  I love living in Denver!

Look at me!

Rylee is such a cutie!  She came in on Saturday and said, "Mom, I did my own hair"!  She did a great job and it looks FAN-tastic!

She looks ILL

First off, I can't even type this without laughing!
Ehem...while in Bama, we helped my mom out in primary by doing singing time.  I decided to do an ole classic", sticker attack"!  I made my poor pregnant sister Jenny be the target and OH how I enjoyed myself!  Thanks for being fun Jenny!
(my favorite is the eyelash)

Happy New Yearish!

We flew in late from my mom's and decided to party like it was 2008 with food and movies!  We were all so tired and really wanted to see if we could make it.  Well, Luke didn't make it past 8:30, but we helped him ring in the New Year anyhow!
Reagan drank herself to sleep!  What a boozer!
Dan told the kids whoever fell asleep first got a spankin' and boy was she nervous!  She watched and waited for Luke to pass out and when he did she was out like a light!  She cracks us up!
These two are crazy!  They were bound and determined to stay up late!  I finally talked them into celebrating it an hour early because they were both going to break their necks from all the nodding.  Happy New Year folks!

Huntsville Space Center

We took the kiddos to the Space Center while in Alabama! We went there when I was a kid and OH how I wanted to do the space camp! Looked sooooo fun! It was fun to show my kids...they all loved it! They had cool experiments and Lots of great rockets to explore. We met Jenny, Trav and Lex there and so it was fun to hang out with everyone!

Thanks Grandma & Grandpa Dunlop!

We sure had a blast with all the cousins at G & G Dunlop's for Christmas!  We wish all the cousins could have been there, but we made sure they had matching jammies too!

Story time at night was hilarious!  These kids are just too cute!

Noah had a blast shooting with his sling shot and the target Grandma made!
Luke and Jack were in hog heaven with Grandpa Jim's train in the garage!  Thanks Dad

Rylee and the girls had fun hunting for treasures in the back yard!
Reagan spent her days eating, sleeping, smiling and yes,  more poop!

The guys thought they were the only ones that could use the paintball guns!  I don't think so...better watch when you are sleeping Danny boy!
Every Dunlop Christmas my parents make a Survivor/Amazing Race game for us.  We call it the "Dunlop Games".  We are split into two teams and have a freaking blast doing different games against each other.  This is the pic of the WINNING team!  Yea...we are pretty awesome!  We were all tied together and had to follow each other around the course.  We had to go up and down and through this ladder about 50 times!  I need to work out - holy cow!
We played board games after the kids went to bed every night and man it was a hoot!  My family is so much fun!  Thanks for a great Christmas guys!
Special thanks to mom and dad for all the great memories!
(and the stocked pantry and the ice-cream)
